Farewell to 2021

This is our last newsletter for 2021. DMY is closing for three weeks from 17th December returning 10 January. Like everyone in our community it has been a big, often challenging, year and we are looking forward to take a well earned break to recharge the batteries and spend time with loved ones.

2022 is already shaping up to be a big year for buying and selling accounting practices. We've had eight practice owners sign up with us in the last month alone to sell their practices and we are expecting more in January/February after the break.

2021 saw an average of 76 interested buyers for every practice for sale. Will 2022 be even stronger? Time will tell, but every indication is that the market will remain positive for sellers, and buyers will need to work smart to compete and win for their ideal acquisitions.

On that note we will say farewell for 2021 and thank all of our community - sellers, buyers, business partners - for your support through the year. Have a safe, healthy and happy Christmas, and see you in the New Year!
